In the early 1970's, cities across America became donuts: minority hearts surrounded by white suburbs. Through multiple characters, Blaine explores what it was like to grow up in such a city and thrive!
The show is a mix of personal recollection, monologues, and dialogues between Jennifer's many alter egos; Dr. Amir, an Indian philosopher, Ruth, an old Jewish woman with a taste for dirty jokes, Mammi, a latina child advocate with an attitude and Danny, a guy from South Philly who hits on any woman no matter her race. Jennifer will perform White Flight:A Love Letter to My Neighborhood at Old City Coffee, where she has performed her one-woman shows for the last five Philadelphia Fringe Festivals.
Jennifer Blaine has been seen on commercials and public television and can be heard on a multitude of voiceovers. According to the Philadelphia Daily News "not even Sybil can compete with Blaine's cast of characters. Her comic genius is like Lily Tomlin and Tracey Ullman."
Jennifer has performed with movie stars such as Chris Rock and has opened for George Carlin. In Philadelphia, Jennifer has appeared in every Philadelphia Fringe Festival since l997, hosted the First Philadelphia FunnyFest, and was featured on ABC's "Philly After Midnight: Women Comedians."
Her one-woman show, SORRY, premiered at last year's Philadelphia Fringe and received such accolades as City Paper's Pick of the Fringe 2003. "In her sharp, funny one-woman show, actress-comedian Jennifer Blaine takes a look at men, women and the word that separates us all: "sorry." Her wacky assortment of characters keep you engaged from start to finish, as well as stock you up with a few dirty jokes sure to delight the grandparents." With last year's show, Blaine toured Massachusetts, Colorado, South Carolina, California, Washington D.C., New York City, and was featured at the annual WomenSpeak at the Open Stage of Harrisburg.

Jennifer Blaine intends to tour White Flight to any city, town, college, or country that is thirsting for dialogue about creating thriving, diverse, multi-cultural community.
